Wine & Jazz Tasting

Our fist tasting at Pelican paired Wine & Jazz with some delicious favorites from Restaurante Las Cascadas on the resort.  The restaurant served mini twists on some of their most popular items including fish carpaccilo paired with a bright and tasty Pinot Grigio which was very well recieved.  The two reds from Argentina were fantastic as they combined well with their food countparts.  The intimate crowd appreciated the excellent pairings and the beautiful poolside scenery while the live jazz transported everyone to a happy place.

The evenings pairings were:

  1. Fish carpaccio & Graffigna Pinot Grigio
  2. Grilled chicken skewer & Casillero del Diablo Sauvignon Blanc
  3. Roasted pork loin & Norton Malbec
  4. Steak Tenderloin bruschetta & Graffigna Cabernet Sauvignon
