The year started with a taste of Italy at Pizzeria San Juan. Mauricio served authentic Italian delights (and wines) like a porcini and wine risotto that was unforgettable. Next we traveled to Tapas restaurant El Bocadito for a taste of Spain. Again the international flavors impressed the crowd with a fine variety of wines and appetizers. The series visited El Globo restaurant for some fantastic versions of local seafood. The original Tsunami plate included a fish fillet in wine sauce with shrimp. The crowd was impressed by the high quality of food presented and the wines were paired perfectly.
