108 years ago a man named Paul Harris had an idea.  Together with his three friends they would start a club to help their community.  This idea has grown to over 34,000 clubs with more than 1.5 million members in over 190 countries.  This network of friends has accomplished millions of projects worldwide and established itself as a powerful force of positive change.

All members are volunteers, professionals and leaders who understand the need and joy of giving.  We are those who understand our interconnection with one another and strive to alleviate suffering and create avenues of progress.   We are not in the business of giving fish but in helping individuals learn how to fish.  We do not want to create dependencies but instead independent progressive individuals that become positive forces in their communities.
