New Wines at Pelican Eyes

A colorful sunset adorned this excellent tasting as we tried new wine and food combinations.  The attendees were excited to try new offerings from Italy, Argentina and Chile.  We started out with Mumm Champagne from Argentina and chicken cordon bleu for a perfect match. A fruity and crisp Bolla Pinot Grigio paired well with a fish fillet and the other pairings included a luscious Palo Alto red blend with steak and popular Fantini Sangiovese with a pasta prrimavera in a red sauce. Jame and company were inspired and graced us with fantastic live jazz all evening.

Grilled Fish Filete & Bolla Pinot Griio – Italy

Filete Mignon – Palo Alto Red Blend – Chile

Pasta Primavera in Red Sauce –  Fantini Sangiovese – Italy
