Fast food is a recent phenomenom in town (started around 2012) but quickly became all the rage. A lot of mediocre places sprang up but as competition heated up the offerings got better. Currently there are excellent choices, here are some:
Pizzeria San Juan
Pizzeria San JuanBiographical Info
This unpretentious spot serves some of the best and authentic Italian dishes in town. The pizza is good (thin crust baked perfectly) but their pasta dishes, especially with homemade fettuccine, are consistently excellent. Mauricio is an old school chef so flavor is never sacrificed and he is passionate about fresh ingredients. The seafood pasta is famous and the mar y monte (shrimp and mushrooms) is another favorite. The wine selection is Italian and small but well represented.
