Fantastic tasting at el bocadito as owner Jorge Bonillo impressed us with some excellent wines and food pairings. Spain has a rich culinary and viniculture tradition so Jorge took the event very seriously and served very generously. The engagin crowd got right into the event laughing throughout as the wine poured. Chef Enmanuel Yubank did an outstanding job in both preparation and presentation yielding an ample and interesting variety of flavors. A truley tasty and amusing event.
The evenings pairings were:
- Batuta Blanco (arien grape) with Fish Pie
- Valitierra (verdejo grape) with Corvina in Crab Sauce and Sauteed Potatoes
- Batuta Tinto (tempranillo grape) with Kefta
- Montecliego (tempranillo grape) with Filte Mignon with blue cheese.
